Sooner Than Later

WAHAY! Madison will be able to come home earlier than expected! we were expecting to bring her home at the beginning of may but we are now bringing her home on the 19th of April! Im so excited, my little grey mole will look like a puppy! xx

BRODY (9TH NOVEMBER 1994 - MARCH 2006)

One Christmas, Jay (Sal's husband) had bought and wrapped the essential puppy supplies: a bowl, puppy food, dog chews etc. After opening these Sal was pretty confused and wondered why she had all of these things when they didnt even have a dog! Jay then took Sal to pick out their very own Weimaraner puppy and it turned out to be Brody! Out of me and my 2 sisters, i was his favourite and i was the one he turned to for a sneaky snack or a little walk. He was one of the best dogs I have ever known and when my puppy arrives I hope she is something like him. Unfortunately Brody died early 2006 of old age, he was about 12 and a half and was struggling with walking so the best thing for him was to let him go to doggy heaven. He is missed by all and won't be forgotten. He is ultimately the grandaddy of my Weimaraner obsession.

WATSON - (26TH JULY 1995 - MAY 2006)

Watson was a rescued Weimaraner which Sal and Jay got when Brody was about 7 and Watson was about 6. He had already lived in 3 homes before Sal rescued him. He was such a character and loved by all the family, even though him and Brody did have their little fallings out. He liked to have his bum patted and liked to bring you something; the remote, the blanket in his bed, trainers.... pretty much anything he found when you came in from work or came to visit. Watson Lived until he was about 12. Sadly he died of cancer, which was in his lungs. He had problems breathing so Sal and Jay took him to the vets and found cancer, they operated and it hadn't spread very far, but while recovering the cancer spread through both of his lungs. One day he went to the vets through trouble breathing and didnt come home. He is missed by everyone, especially Kiwi.......... ..........

KIWI - (27TH JUNE 1998)

This is the first (and so far only) girlie Weimaraner Sal and Jay have owned. She was also a rescue dog. She was rescued at the age of 6 from a family that didnt look after her properly. She was locked in a room all day and didn't have walks. And when she came to Sal it was obvious that 6 years of energy had built up inside her because she is the craziest dog ever! She used to bound around the fields like Bambi and would, if she had the chance, play herself to death, once that ball was thrown there was no stopping her! Kiwi is now 8 years old and still looks and acts like a puppy. We all wonder sometimes if she actually has a brain because many-a-time she has ran into various solid objects and carried on without a flinch, but we love her for it.

BLUE - (APPROX 10TH AUGUST 1998)

Blue is the newset member of the family. Also a rescue dog who was a stray. We don't know who his previous owners are so we don't know how old he is, but we think he is about 8 or 9. He is a very stubborn dog because he only listens to you when he wants to. But i don't blame him sometimes, because would you answer to a name that probably isn't yours! Even though he has a stubborn streak in him, he is very shy but loves to have his bum patted too. He is a very loving dog and Sal and Jay are glad to give him a happy home.
